1/10 TAMIYA CC01 FJ YJ RC CAR Large Angle Steering Optimized Edition
The main improvements are as follows:
① The steering lower arm is changed from a straight arm to a scimitar steering arm, which greatly optimizes the Ackerman angle of the front wheel.
② The middle tie rod is moved out, the force structure of the steering group is optimized, and the virtual position is smaller.
③ The size and hole position of the steering upper arm are optimized, which can better exert the rudder volume and torque of the steering gear, and at the same time reduce the amplification of the virtual position of the steering gear itself.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1:In order to pursue a smaller virtual position, the steering group adopts a tight formula for ball head screws and ball head caps. As long as the resistance is not large, there is no problem. The ball head and ball head cap I installed have been adjusted and tightened, and there is no need to deal with them.
IMPORTANT NOTE 2: This steering set ball head cap and ball head screws are paired one-to-one, which is the most important point to ensure virtual position. Do not swap ball head screws at will, and do not use other ball head screws, such as original brass ball head screws. Remember!
IMPORTANT NOTE 3:The steering group is assembled as a whole, and all screws and nuts are tightened in place. No further tightening is required. In particular, do not disassemble the lower steering arm of the spindle. There are angle requirements for the upper and lower steering arms of the spindle. It is likely that you will not be able to install the appropriate angle after disassembling. You just need to remove the upper steering arm of the spindle according to the tutorial and install it from the chassis to the bottom up. It's very simple. The upper and lower bearing specifications are different.Small bearings below, large bearings above
